How to Tell If You're Pregnant Before You Can Test

Morning sickness happens at any time of the day or night. This will happen about 5-6 weeks after conception. Often, you will feel sick right after eating to the point where you may avoid eating just to avoid the feeling (do not avoid eating!).
Breast soreness, tenderness, or tingling is an early sign which can affect many women early, but sometimes doesn't come along for many weeks into the pregnancy. Along with tenderness is bright blue veins across the chest and under the arms due to increased blood flow.
Increase in breast size.
A missed period or a period which is very light, very short, irregular, or happens on a day when it was unexpected (early/late).

Lower abdominal cramping (like period cramps) and lower back pain. Normally this pain will be dull. If there are sharp, shooting, one-sided pains, a doctor should be consulted immediately, as an ectopic (tubal) pregnancy is possible and is very dangerous.
Food cravings and aversions. You may crave strange things or be suddenly disgusted by things you used to love. Coffee is a very common aversion.
Increased sense of smell. Some smells will suddenly be overwhelming and flat out disgusting in early pregnancy. A smell that used to have no effect or was even pleasant may become unbearable or set off a bout of morning sickness.
Abdominal itching can happen as the skin begins expanding. This may not happen until later, but is possible in early pregnancy, especially if this is not the first pregnancy.
