How to Increase Sperm Count and Motility

No Drugs
Drugs and alcohol may suppress sperm production. Also certain presciption medicine may reduce sperm count such as Zantac. Inform your doctor if you are trying to start a family. He or she may be able to prescribe an alternative.
Cut Out Certain Foods
Just like drugs are unhealthy for sperm, so are certain foods. Stay away from processed foods and fried foods. Eat a diet consisting of foods high in protein, green leafy vegetables and low fat grains. Try organic fruits and vegetables.
Take Vitamins
Take a daily men's vitamin. You can also take the following vitamins alone.
Vitamin C: Makes sperm more mobile. Take about 2000mg to 6000mg daily.
Vitamin E: Increases sperm count and carries oxygen to the sex organs.
Zinc: Increases sperm count. Only take about 80mg daily.
Herbs
Astragalus: Helps to stimulate sperm motility.
Ginseng: Enhances sexual functions.
