How to Use the TET Procedure to Get Pregnant

Locate a clinic that offers the TET procedure. Monitor your ovulation with an ovulation kit during the month prior to your procedure. Receive a Lupron injection 10 days following ovulation to prevent the hormone responsible for triggering ovulation from doing so before egg retrieval. Begin menstrual cycle approximately 2 weeks later.
Get hormone injections for 10 days beginning on the third day of your cycle. Ultrasound monitoring and blood tests to check estrogen levels will be conducted starting on the fourth day of these injections to determine ripeness of the eggs and the start of ovulation. Receive an injection of human chorionic gondadotropin (HCG) for egg maturation.

Start the egg retrieval process. Get lightly sedated in order for a needle to be inserted vaginally to remove the eggs and have them placed into a culture dish with semen obtained from your partner. Allow 2 days for fertilization.
