Wrap up your pregnancy test and give it to him! Or put a big pink & blue bow on it and leave it somewhere he might find it - like by his razor or folded in the morning news paper.
Buy two newborn outfits saying "Daddy's Little Girl" and "Daddy's Little Slugger". (or whatever you can find that works). Give them to him and watch as he figures it out.
Put a bun in the oven and tell him to go check on dinner. When he asks "What's this?" tell him "We have a bun in the oven!"
Think about your husbands favorite hobby and incorporate that into how you tell him. For instance, you can buy a small onesie and some fabric paint and write on it "Daddy's future Caddy", if he's a golfer. Or if he's into boating it can say "Daddy's future first mate". Whatever you can come up with!
Or you can get (or make) a shirt for your husband that says "Soon to be the best father ever" or "expectant father". Anything along those lines will do the trick.
