Achieve a healthy weight, exercise and eat a healthy diet: A healthy pregnancy starts before you get pregnant. And it starts with a healthy diet and weight. Be sure that you and your partner are eating well-balanced diets and exercising (but not too strenuously). This will increase your odds of becoming pregnant and help to produce healthier eggs and sperm.
Cut out caffeine and alcohol: Studies have shown both to reduce your odds of conceiving.
Take prenatal vitamins: Begin supplementing your diet at least three months before you get pregnant by taking prenatal vitamins.
Toss the lubricants: Lubricants can kill sperm-so throw them away. If you find that you still need a lubricant--try egg whites.
Just Say No: Avoiding marijuana will increase your odds of becoming pregnant. Marijuana is a sperm killer.
