Foods to Eat When Trying to Conceive a Girl

When hoping to have a daughter, you should generally try to eat no more than your recommended daily calorific intake. It is believed that women who eat in excess of their daily requirements are more likely to conceive a son.
Many of the foods to eat when trying to conceive a girl are very nutritious and it is generally straightforward to include these in any diet. When trying to become pregnant, most women naturally up their intake of calcium rich foods to protect their own bones. However, when hoping to have a daughter, feel free to increase the amount of low fat milk you drink and add a pot of yogurt to your daily diet. Other calcium-rich foods include tinned fish, with the bones left in (such as salmon) and broccoli and kale.

When you are trying to become pregnant, general advice is to reduce the amount of caffeine you consume as this can inhibit conception. If you are hoping to have a daughter, this advice is even more relevant. Under normal circumstances, it is believed that a cup or so of coffee a day is fine, but you should avoid it wherever possible to conceive a girl. Also, tea and cola drinkers should be mindful of the amount of caffeine contained in their daily beverages!
Other foods to eat when trying to conceive a girl include nuts, soya beans and most leafy green vegetables. You should take care to avoid foods which contain salt and do not add this when cooking.
Although there is no doubt that choosing your diet carefully can influence the sex of the baby you conceive, if you are serious about a positive outcome, you should use a method which is far more reaching and uses a combination of techniques, all of which are equally important. For example, you need to consider the timing of intercourse, the positions for intercourse and the acidity of your vagina.
