Missed Cycle
The most common symptom of pregnancy, a missed period usually occurs the month right after conception has taken place. According to the American Pregnancy Association, some women can still experience some type of menstruation in the early stages, but it usually is a shorter and lighter period than normal.
Nausea
Nausea is one of the most common pregnancy symptoms aside from a delayed menstrual cycle. It generally begins within the first two to eight weeks after conception, and can last throughout your entire pregnancy.
Sore Breasts
Another common sign of pregnancy early on, this is caused by the changes of hormones in your body. You may notice your breasts have become larger, feel heavier or are extremely tender. According to the medical experts at Mayo Clinic, this can occur as soon as two weeks after conception.
Headaches
Those dastardly hormones affect you in multiple ways when you become pregnant, and your head is no exception. The increased production of hormones causes an increase in blood circulation that can result in frequent headaches in the early stage of your pregnancy.
Food Cravings
According to the Mayo Clinic, food cravings are another early sign of pregnancy. They are typically the most drastic during your first trimester, and you may find yourself wanting food you couldn't stand to look at before conception. This is another symptom that can be blamed on those crazy hormones.
